I really liked that you highlighted how the concept of womanhood has evolved drastically in America (and of course it has changed much throughout human history, through various cultures, as well). I find it odd that a lot of folks who support the “trad-wife” ideal seem to revert specifically to some fantasy about 1950s American womanhood. Infantilization, as you rightly point out, is becoming more pervasive amongst men and women alike, and is exacerbated by the worst elements of modernity.
